Whenever possible the OEM or an "OEM" style low temperature thermostat works best to keep engine coolant temperature in check. The problem is that the OEM thermostat outlet points in the wrong direction when K-Swapping a Porsche Boxster or Cayman. To help fix this problem we have created a Thermostat Rotation Ring which allows you to use an OEM Honda Thermostat on a K24A or K24Z engine and have it point towards the Porsche coolant hard lines.
Some minor trimming of the thermostat plastic housing is required for clearance, see pictures
This kit comes with the TBN Thermostat Rotation Ring and 2 new bolts. One original thermostat bolt needs to be reused
